Living A Happy Marriage

Since teenage, girls especially dream about their wedding day, and they usually imagine themselves the most beautiful brides in the world, hand in hand with Prince Charming. In most of the cases this day always comes, even if it is not like in their childish dreams. And here you are married, maybe with children.
Many couples are happy together, of course, with slight arguments from time to time, and they spend a whole life loving each other, and when they are old, they consider that their life was too short.
On the other hand, there are couples who can’t live without their daily arguments, less or more violent. They usually end in separation, and their children are those who suffer a lot.
There are no secrets or laws of a happy marriage. All depends on us. At the beginning of the relationship with your future husband or wife, you should check if you are compatible from the astrological point of view. Sometimes we say that even if we are attracted from the physical point of view to our partner, we don’t have anything else in common. This happens maybe because of lack of compatibility.
However, if you skipped the compatibility test at the beginning of your marriage, you should try to respect some common sense rules related to your life as a couple. For example, you should never shout to each other, as it is the worst thing to be both of you angry in the same time. If you have a conflict, let your partner talk and listen to what he or she has to tell you, without being overwhelmed by emotions.
Don’t remember past mistakes, like “You always…”, “You never…” or “It’s exactly like the moment when you…” Don’t judge and don’t criticize. If you want to make him or her aware of a default, do it with love. If you tell or make something wrong, admit it. Then ask him or her to forgive you, but from the bottom of your heart. Tell every day something nice to your partner. Sometimes let him or her win. You shouldn’t insist to be always right.
Offer love every day and let your partner offer you too, and you should receive it gratefully.
One thing to keep in mind is that your spouse comes first before the children. Try planning a romantic getaway and find a good nanny for hire to take care of them while you’re gone. It will do wonders for your relationship.
Some people say that a happy marriage depends on the financial situation of the couple, but this is not true. I met people who used to say that they can eat a slice of bread and they can sleep in the middle of the forest, only to be with the person they love. Of course we shouldn’t fall to the other extreme, but we must keep the balance in everything we do, even in the way we love a person.
A happy marriage shouldn’t be influenced by the so called friends whose only interest is to destroy the harmony of your couple. If you want a long lasting happy marriage, you shouldn’t tell anybody the secrets of your couple. All your problems should be discussed between you and your partner.
