Marriage Family Counseling

There are moments in our lives when we spend time with our partner, eat at the same table, share the same bed, and talk about every day problems, about kids and money, but we discover that from the point of view of feelings, of passion we don’t have anything in common anymore.
There are couples who got married because they were attracted only by their physical aspect. Women especially change a lot after marriage, they get older more quickly, they are tired and busy with housework, children and job, and they are not that attractive for their husband as they were at the beginning of their relationship. In this case, there are more situations. They divorce, and each of them tries to start a new life and perhaps to find a new love, even if it might be difficult because, you may have children, too. Another possibility is to find a second relationship and to have a double life, but it is not recommended, from more points of views. Firstly, you can’t be nice with both partners, therefore with one of them you should behave like an actor, you should pretend, and a lie is always discovered, sooner or later. Moreover, most of the religions incriminate adulterous persons. Furthermore, in such a situation you might feel guilty, because you may make both of them suffer, because both of them may love you. And it is not fair!
And there is one more hope! Nowadays there are many psychologists specialized in couple management, who have the patience to listen to your problems, to analyze them and to try to make you refresh your relationship. Maybe you don’t have enough imagination; you don’t know how to start your relationship again, while experts know a lot of tips which might help you. Suppose you are both about 52, your children are married and you have to spend most of your time together, and you know all your qualities, defaults and habits. If you don’t find anything interesting to each other, find a good psychologist, specialized in marriage and family counseling and maybe your relationship will be saved, on the condition to collaborate with the counselor.
Under no circumstances, listen to your friends in which you don’t trust if they try to be your personal counselors. You know that an Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore wrote in a poem that the Heaven and the hell are within us, so before going to a 
marriage counselor’s spend a little time with your own conscience and try to discover what your mistake is.
Only if you can’t find your mistake, and your partner can’t find his or her mistake either, and your marriage is still in crisis, take a smile on your face and knock at a marriage counselor’s door. Maybe you should change something in your behavior, or only in your look, or maybe you should buy new clothes or should wear new make up, in order to appear more interesting to your partner. The essential condition is that you want to continue your relationship. You may consider it like a family project.
